Feeling powerless in the face of all the waste we generate? Trying your best to reuse and recycle but still unhappy about how much waste plastic you generate? Feel sad about mess on our streets?
Come to our next meeting. Hear from Cllr Charlotte Cornell, your local Seasalter councillor who is the Cabinet member for Council Services which includes waste management. Charlotte will speak about "Managing your waste, waste collection now and aspirations for the future."
After that, representatives of Plastic Free Whitstable, Whitstable Repair Cafe, Circular kitchens and Whitstable composting will make brief presentations. We will then ask questions and discuss ideas for the future. We will focus on practical things that we can all do.
So do join us to hear what's happening on this critical issue locally, air your views and get a few pointers for future action.
Our meetings are free and open to all who live or work in CT5.
